During my time here at Crystal Dynamics, I had the honor of working as a Sr. Environment Artist on one of the most recognizable franchises in the video game industry. Tomb Raider is a game I have followed since the PS1 days and I remain a huge fan! My responsibilities included modeling, texturing, lighting, collision work, material blending and optimizations of the levels I worked on. The art and design team at Crystal Dynamics reminded me of the early Gears of War team. It is definitely a unique experience when being a part of the art team at Crystal Dynamics.

Tomb Raider sold over 1 million copies in the first 48 hours of its release and has received universal critical acclaim. It currently holds a rating of 86 on the XBox360 and PC, and an 87 on the PS3 according to Metacritic. This is truly a new experience for hardcore fans of Lara Croft. It is awesome to see her transition from a frightened young woman to a kick ass survivor on Tomb Raider.
